Level 1 systems:

Depending on customer requirements, we deliver controls on different platforms:

X-Pact® Embedded (a product from SMS-Siemag)

We deliver control cabinets, consoles or adapt existing equipment for upgrades.

A function block library ensures standardized, tried and tested and sustainable software solutions.

Technological controls:

Technological controls are generally part of level 1 automation. Even so, they are usually treated separately because of the requirements
and the performance of the hardware is higher in many cases. Our solutions are based on platforms such as Simatic TDC, Simatic S7 1500 and X-Pact® Embedded.

Thanks to our many years of experience in the field of rolling mill automation, modern solutions are used in control technology, such as non-linear controllers based on differential-geometric methods for high-speed control of hydraulic cylinders or algorithms from the theory of neural networks for active roll eccentric compensation.

Level 2 systems:

Depending on customer requirements, we deliver level 2 systems with hardware or we only deliver the software if our customer wants to use his own hardware solutions such as virtualized platforms.

With our paNDA software environment (pa-innovations Network and Data Application) we offer a powerful level 2 environment based on C# consisting of software libraries for mathematical operations, database operations, and visualization.

On the application side, we offer solutions for pass schedule management, recipe management, reporting and our physical-mathematical models for automatic pass schedule calculation.
